Reminders Of Him - Colleen Hoover review
After serving five years in prison for a tragic mistake, Kenna Rowan returns to the town where it all went wrong, hoping to reunite with her four-year-old daughter. But the bridges Kenna burned are proving impossible to rebuild. Everyone in her daughter's life is determined to shut Kenna out, no matter how hard she works to prove herself.
The only person who hasn't closed the door on her completely is Ledger Ward, a local bar owner and one of the few remaining links to Kenna's daughter. But if anyone were to discover how Ledger is slowly becoming an important part of Kenna's life, both would risk losing the trust of everyone important to them.
The two form a connection despite the pressure surrounding them, but as their romance grows, so does the risk. Kenna must find a way to absolve the mistakes of her past in order to build a future out of hope and healing.

I was really looking forward to this book. I've been overwhelmed on Tiktok and Instagram with people showing and talking about this book. I couldn't stay behind on this one so I decided to give it a go and see for myself if it really is worth the hype.
I thought I was emotionally stable enough to read this book, but oh dear have I cried while reading this one. And when I say crying, I mean like tears streaming down my face. But In a good way of course. I was so touched by the story and the characters. They really moved me. I could easily imagine how their pain would feel like and what they must be feeling. It's a rollercoaster of emotions and I feel like my heart has been broken more than once while reading this book. It has been smashed and crushed, just to mend everything back together, just to get smashed again.
This book
really hit me and I still can't let it go. It's still running through my mind now
and then. There wasn't a single moment where I had the feeling that I was bored
during this book. I couldn't stop reading. I had to continue reading almost everywhere.
At home, at word, at the bowling center, in the car (not when I was driving of
course!). This book deserves a 5 star rating, believe me!
